Emily L. Judd is a multimedia journalist based in the Middle East with experience across television, digital, print, and podcast media, including over five years of experience as a producer at Fox News Channel - the #1 cable television news network in the United States - and over six years experience as a podcast host and producer for Yale University.
She holds a master's degree in religion from Yale University (2019) and a master's degree in journalism from Georgetown University (2016).
She launched Yale University's first podcast on religion, culture, and politics - now in its sixth season with 50 episodes. Emily is both the host and producer of the podcast.
From 2018 to 2019, Emily was a fellow at the John Paul II Center for Interreligious Dialogue in Rome, Italy, where she studied Christianity, Islam, and Judaism at the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas, moderated interfaith panels, and organized interfaith events. She spent four summers as a student at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, studying the history of the Abrahamic religions in the Holy Land and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Following the fellowship, Emily worked as a multimedia journalist for two years at Al Arabiya English, the Arab world's leading source of global news and opinion.
Before moving to the Middle East, Emily worked as a journalist across all media platforms in the United States, with news organizations such as Fox News Channel, the Associated Press, and the Huffington Post.
