Emily Judd is a multimedia journalist at Al Arabiya English, the Arab world's leading source of global news and opinion. She covers the intersection of religion and politics, especially religious minorities and interfaith efforts in the Middle East. Hundreds of thousands of people, mainly in the US and Gulf region, read her work.

Emily was a fellow at the John Paul II Center for Interreligious Dialogue in Rome, Italy, from 2018 to 2019, where she studied Islam and Judaism at a Vatican university, moderated interfaith panels, and organized interfaith events. She spent three summers in Jerusalem, researching relationships between the three major monotheistic religions in the Holy Land and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Before moving to the Middle East, Emily worked as a journalist across all media platforms in the United States, with news organizations such as Fox News Channel, The Associated Press, and The Huffington Post.

Emily received a master's degree in religion from Yale University in 2019 and a master's degree in journalism from Georgetown University in 2016.

While at Yale, she launched the university's first podcast dedicated to religion and politics, now in its fourth season with 20 episodes, and has an audience of over 20,000 listeners. Emily is both the host and producer of the podcast.
